Inevitably in most circumstances when someone is focusing on their physique they become glued to the scales checking their bodyweight and using that as the main sign of success.
Now i’m not saying your body weight is a useless piece of information whatsoever but it is true that it is merely one part of a more complex process.
In reality body weight alone can be extremely misleading. Bodyweight can fluctuate daily with factors such as water retention and lack of sleep. An individuals physique can also improve or get worse whilst the scale stays the same. The individual could have put on muscle or lost fat but the weight is the same which creates a better body composition and therefore improvement but the scale alone wouldn’t show that The scales are there to utilise as just one part of the process. They can give a very basic insight but the look of the physique is far more important than what a body weight tells you.
